[Reader beware! You are about to read a blog post from one very proud dad!]
Today my son, Evan (22), launched a charitable missions organization:
God has put a vision in his heart for over four years now to use the vehicle of soccer to bring the love of Jesus to the poor, the underprivileged, and the lost peoples of this world. He has seen first-hand how something as simple as a soccer ball can be used of God to bring the love and joy of Jesus to an entire village. Evan has a huge heart for missions and a great love for soccer. He has worked diligently over the past couple of months to establish “mission:soccer” as a vehicle through which the love of God can be tangibly expressed and the gospel communicated to all people groups beginning with the universal language of soccer.
Instead of me going on and on, it would be best to let you hear Evan share his own heart concerning this work. Please follow the link below to view the “promo video”. It’s really great!

He has also set up the mission:soccer website here:

And now, one final thing…
Would you consider being a part of the launch of mission:soccer by helping to spread the word? I believe this work is going to touch many, many lives and be a vehicle in God’s hands to spread the gospel and advance the Kingdom of God. Would you consider sharing the news on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, your blog, by email, word of mouth, etc. …?
You can use the share buttons at the bottom of this post if you’d like, or do so using the links provided. As an added incentive, (this is a Dad thing), I have told Evan that for every five “shares” that come from this post, I will donate one soccer ball. So, let’s partner together to spread the word and “get the ball rolling”! 🙂
Thanks, and God bless you!
